About SwitchDutch

SwitchDutch was built by Danann Bartels, a software developer from the Netherlands.

I didn't build this because I'm an expat. I built it because I watched too many people around me, including colleagues, friends, and international students, struggle with something that shouldn't be this hard. Which energy provider? Which health insurer? Which bank actually works in English? The information exists, but it's in Dutch, scattered across dozens of sites, and most comparison platforms care more about their ad revenue than giving honest advice.

So I built the thing I wished existed. One place, in plain English, with nothing to hide. No ads, no data selling, just honest comparisons funded by affiliate commissions.

Prices are checked and updated by hand every month. If you spot something wrong, I want to know.
